| Pamela Gilbert Bagwell
QUALIFICATIONS
Pamela Bagwell brings fifteen years of experience, in human
resources and organizational effectiveness, to her work as
a consultant in human resources and business execution. Ms.
Bagwell has held executive positions with Pillsbury, Thomson
Consumer Electronics, and Clark Refining and Marketing. In
addition to her business successes, she has published several
articles on Organizational Based Self Esteem and the Effects
on Employee Morale, Job Satisfaction and Turnover. Her research
has been presented at several Psychological Association conferences.
Ms. Bagwell has combined her business experience with a solid
theoretical knowledge to create value added solutions for
her clients, in industries as diverse as pharmaceutical,
retail, mental health, food services, petroleum and consumer
electronics sectors.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Pamela Bagwell began her management career as a Director
for the Easter Seal Society.
While there, she was responsible for the design and implementation
of the first nationally acclaimed work program for people
with disabilities, an accomplishment that has been widely
emulated, and studied as a model by several universities
across the nation.
As a Manager of Organizational Effectiveness for a petroleum
company, Ms. Bagwell successfully directed the start up of
the Human Resource department. Her leadership accounted for
the successful acquisition of a major refinery, and the implementation
of a human resource strategic planning process. Ms. Bagwell
successfully negotiated an innovative four-year labor contract
increasing manufacturing flexibility and operational efficiency.
She was a key leader of a refinery optimization team responsible
for generating an increase in EBITDA of $30 million dollars.
At Thomson Consumer Electronics, Ms. Bagwell drove the successful
start up and introduction of the high-end PROSCAN television
operations, a leader in combining technical and social innovations
in the manufacturing process. Start up efforts included the
development of a work cell assembly process, socio-technical
training, utilization of high performance work teams, cross-functional
training and union management cooperative efforts. After
first year quality and production goals were achieved, she
drove labor negotiations based on increased manufacturing
flexibility, autonomous work groups, job classification restructuring,
and bonus structure for cellular manufacturing group
Ms. Bagwell is active in her community as a mentor for adolescents
at high risk. She actively participates in charitable organizations
such as United Way, Easters Seal Society and Special Olympics.
EDUCATIONAL AND ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Ms.
Bagwell holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational
Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
